Write Your First Novel : Practicing Imagination and Trusting Your Story - LIVE Online

For students who took "Write Your First Novel" for beginners, or for anyone who has a great idea for a novel but hasn't yet turned that idea into reality, this LIVE Online course is for you! This class will help you write and finish the novel or memoir that's inside you waiting to come out. This course prioritizes the importance of writers finding their community. You will spend time discussing the major roadblocks that affect writers, explore creative solutions to common writing problems, and share some of your latest writing in class--all in a spirit of support and helpful feedback. At the end of this three-part class, we will dive into the publishing process, discussing how to go about pursuing publication of your work: agents, editors, publishers, and more.

You won’t find pre-recorded lectures here! LIVE Online means that our same quality courses are delivered right to your doorstep while allowing for the interaction of a traditional classroom. LIVE Online Course Details:

• This online platform is compatible with desktop and laptop computers and will also work with iPads, android tablets, iPhones, and android phones. Devices must have a camera and microphone, which are standard on all smartphones and iPads.
• Course access will be provided with a link that you simply click in order to join the LIVE Online classroom. The link will work with your web browser or through the Pexip app which is free to download. You will receive that link 3 business days before your first class session.
• Course handouts will be emailed to you 3 business days before your first class session. Students may want to print these out for easy reference during your LIVE Online sessions.
