Prior to enrolling in Photography 3 - Advanced - Dahlonega, you must have completed the specified prerequisites (if you have not taken a prerequisite, you can click on the catalog code link to see a list of upcoming course sections):
Photography 1 - Beginner
In this course students will gain photography skills to take better pictures while learning about the operation of a digital camera. The course will cover the essentials of photography and will teach students to improve their techniques to enhance family, vacation, and nature images as well as boost creativity. Participants will focus on manual camera operation, metering, exposure, depth of field, shutter speed, and composition. Note: Students need to bring a digital SLR (or mirrorless) camera with full manual capability to all classes.
Photography 2 - Intermediate
In this in-depth course, students learn advanced exposure, night photography, portraiture, photo editing, and how to be more creative in photography. Students will be encouraged to practice at home with homework assignments and grow from in-class critiques. Note: Students need to bring a digital SLR (or mirrorless) camera with full manual capability to all classes. Prerequisite: Photography 1 - Beginner
